Intracavernosal Injections

Definition : Erectile dysfunction (ED) also known as impotence is a treatable sexual dysfunction. Male ED is characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis.

Causes: There are various underlying causes, for example diabetes and drug side effects. The causes of erectile dysfunction may be physiological or psychological. Psychological impotence may be helped by almost anything that the patient believes in. The so-called placebo effect.

History: Due to its embarrassing nature, the subject of Erectile Dysfunction was taboo for a long time, and is the subject of many urban legends. Folk remedies have long been advocated, with some being advertised widely since the 1930s. The introduction of sildenafil (trade name Viagra), in the 1990s caused a wave of public attention, propelled in part by the news-worthiness of stories about it and heavy advertising.

There are very effective and treatable solutions for erectile dysfunction (ED). When oral medicines – e.g., Viagra® or Cialis® or Levitra® - cannot be used, intracavernosal injections are prescribed – usually by urologists. AMPP has many formulas to choose from. We create the compound according to the physician’s prescription.

All Compounds Require A Prescription!

Please note: A Credit Card must be on file prior to the compound being made if your insurance do not cover the item.
