As a
compounding pharmacy we have a unique position to further assist you in your pain management therapy, your pet's health, veterinarian client's or a physician's patient's, in providing non-commercially available medications in various strengths, forms and dosaging. For the simple reason that every patient or pet is different, and has different needs, customized, compounded medications are a vital part of quality medical care.
Alvarado Pharmacy HAS the H1N1 Vaccine IN STOCK and will be given out in accordance to San Diego County and the CDC restrictions of
- Pregnant women
- Caretakers of infants under six months old
- Children and young adults six months to 24 years old
- Adults 25 to 64 years old with underlying medical conditions
- Health care workers.
Vaccines are in very short supply and the CDC has a distribution list posted HERE
We will be charging a $15.00 service fee for the injection or nasal application. In most cases this fee will be covered by your insurance company and the vaccination itself will be free.

This year we have more than just the typical Flu season, we have the
H1N1 (Swine Flu) spreading.
We NOW have our H1N1 vaccinations and will respect the CDC and state restrictions for young children and the elderly as the first to be vaccinated. READ More on the H1N1 on our

CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against influenza. The flu vaccine protects against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness during the flu season, the vaccine may also protect against illness from similar flu viruses.

2009-20010 Flu Season
Flu activity typically does not reach its peak in the U.S. until January or February. However, flu activity can occur as late as May so getting a vaccine later in the season, including in December, January or even later, and even if flu activity has already started in your area, can still offer protection in most years.
